Parish Committees

The parish has a Parish Pastoral Team which helps the parish priest with the running of the Parish, covering such items as fund raising, social events, maintenance, the various activity groups, consideration of new ideas, care of parishioners and liaison with other churches, as appropriate. Members are regular church attendees. The committee chairperson is selected from the members and meetings are attended by Father Geoffrey. Members of the Pastoral Team represent the parish at meetings of the Deanery Pastoral Council.

Finance Committee

Meets three times a year. It is made up of the Parish Priest and four members who have skills in finance and related subjects, with the object of advising on how the moneys of the Parish should be used to obtain the greatest benefit.

Social Planning Team

A group of people in the parish meet from time to time to plan social and fund-raising activities. This group is open to anyone who wishes to contribute. Contact: Ann Lynch.

Parish Safeguarding Team

The Parish Priest and 2 members of the parish look after any Safeguarding issues which might arise, both relating to children and vulnerable adults, and ensure that Parish groups and activities work within the guidance of current Catholic and national guidelines. Policy.

Published weekly, our Newsletter contains a message from our Priest, news of events for the ensuing week and for the near future as appropriate, together with any other tit-bits of information.
