Ministers of the Word (Readers)

A group of lay people specifically appointed for the important role of proclaiming the scriptures at Mass.

What do they do?

Ministers of the Word read the scriptures at Mass (with the exception of the Gospel) and lead the Prayers of the Faithful. They may also be asked to read at other services.

Who is involved?

Anyone who feels called to do this, who has the confidence and ability to read in public.  If you are interested please speak with  Deacon Cyril
