Altar Servers

They are volunteer lay assistants who assist the Priest and Deacon during Mass on Sunday and during the week, as well as other liturgical celebrations and services. Anyone, male or female, young or old, who has made their First Holy Communion is eligible.

What do they do?  

 ✠ They ensure the altar and sanctuary are properly prepared for the celebration.

 ✠ They carry the Cross, candles and thurible. 

 ✠ They ring the bells as necessary

 ✠ They ‘fetch and carry’ as necessary
