The relics of one of the most revered Catholic saints, St Bernadette of Lourdes, are to tour Britain for the first time, with up to a million people expected to venerate them.
The tour is set to be the biggest in Britain for the remains of a Catholic saint. Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the Archbishop of Westminster, said this week that he hoped the two-month tour would encourage worshippers to return as the pandemic recedes.
The relics will be at The Friars, Aylesford from the evening of Monday 24th October and leaving lunchtime on Friday 28th October.
