Traditionally November is the month when we pray for deceased relatives and friends and particularly by having mass read for them.

We begin the task by providing names of the dead to be remembered on All Souls Day and through the whole of November.

There is a box in the parish room where names can be placed. The parish room is often opened during the week so please feel free to drop in mid-week if this is more convenient.

We have special permission to offer a Requiem Mass on Remembrance Sunday and we would ask that the names of loved ones who died in combat are provided separately for that particular Sunday

Blessing of the Graves will take place at Sutton Road Cemetery (Sunday 1st November) at 2pm on the Feast of All Saints. All are welcome to meet the clergy at the top end of the cemetery where the majority of catholic graves are. You are then welcome to lead the priests to the grave(s) of your loved ones.
