We have now ordered our new Nativity, chosen by the parish, and it should be with us for Christmas. 

We had previously asked if parishioners might consider sponsoring this and had a very positive response.  From this Sunday you can now pledge money for the figures and have a specific dedication made for a loved one or cause. 

We have decided not to opt for direct sponsorship of a particular figure as we would be likely to be oversubscribed for Mary and Joseph and not for the ox! 

We’ve opted for general non-specific donations – but anyone can ask for a specific dedication to be made for any figure.  All dedications will be recorded and displayed on a plaque to be displayed on the church wall or in a Remembrance Book. 

There will be a display in the Bearsted Parish Room with indicative prices as a guide, but please feel free to donate any amount – from £5 to £500!  To do this, please fill in the Sponsorship Sheet and post in the box provided, or speak to Fr Geoffrey directly. 

To try and finalise this by Christmas, we’d like the closing date for financial pledges to be December 3rd.
