As you might know, we have been looking for possible replacements for our Christmas crib at St Peter’s which has started to look a bit old fashioned.  We do not intend to completely dispose of the old figures but will display them at Christmas time in the parish room.

Possible replacements were found which are made by an Italian firm in the Tyrol, and the decision was put to a vote after mass, which was well supported. The winning choice is shown in the photo.

Shortly, parishioners (either individuals or groups) will soon also be invited to ‘sponsor’ the purchase of individual figures. Further details to follow. Thanks for your support.
