A ‘lectionary’ is composed of the readings and responsorial psalms assigned for each mass of the year ( Sundays, weekdays and special occasions).

From Advent this year we will hear the readings at Mass in a new translation. Using the English Standard Version and the Abbey Psalter this edition makes more provision for inclusive language where possible and attempts to make the text more easily proclaimed in public.
